This smoothie is deliciously rich, packed with healthy fats and is super simple to make. Enjoy it as a snack, sweet treat or for breakfast.
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 cup almond milk
1 medjool date
Here's what you do....
1. Blitz all ingredients in your food processor, blender or Thermomix.
2. Pour into 2 glasses.
This smoothie contains protein already but if you'd like to add more try 1-2 tbsp of a vanilla or chocolate protein powder. Please though, if you're going to use a protein powder, choose one that only uses REAL, plant based ingredients. Read the label on the back and if you spot any synthetic ingredients or long chemically sounding words just put it back on the shelf! Your body doesn't need that stuff.
