Heal (Bayside Melbourne)

Heal photo.png

Director Kelly Noonan Gores' documentary takes us on a scientific and spiritual journey where we discover that our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions have a huge impact on our health and ability to heal. The latest science reveals that we are not victims of unchangeable genes, nor should we buy into a scary prognosis. The fact is we have more control over our health and life than we have been taught to believe. This film will empower you with a new understanding of the miraculous nature of the human body and the extraordinary healer within us all.

HEAL not only taps into the brilliant minds of leading scientists and spiritual teachers but follows three people on actual high stakes healing journeys. Healing can be extremely complex and deeply personal, but it can also happen spontaneously in a moment.
Through these inspiring and emotional stories, we find out what works, what doesn't, and why.

Featuring Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr Joe Dispenza, Anita Moorjani, Bruce Lipton, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Gregg Braden, Anthony William the Medical Medium, Dr. Kelly Turner and many more.

Q&A Panel
Iris Bar is a narrative counselor who works with women in times of crises and transition. In her private practice she supports and guides women to transform old stories and patterns into aware, flexible and beneficial stories. Stories that promote healing and growth.

Iris believes that the stories we hold and form determine how we walk our path. She believes we need to examine the stories we choose. Do we choose stories of fear, contraction, a story of being victims of life circumstances, or do we choose a story of love, awareness, possibilities and expansion?

Through her own journey with Cancer, Iris had experienced the power that lies in the way we choose to view our stories. She believes that by being attentive to our feelings, limiting beliefs, and past stories, we discover our freedom to choose how we perceive and respond to all that might occur in our lives. Iris greatest achievement is choosing a story that promotes and evokes healing and turning times of great crises into times of opportunities and growth.
Iris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social work from the University of Haifa, Israel, a post graduate diploma in Early childhood education from RMIT university. She is a trained Steiner teacher from the Melbourne Rudolf Steiner seminar, a mother of two, a wife, and a storyteller.
